What was your inspiration?
Seeing all the beautiful finished hoodies in this course.
What are you most proud of?
Choosing a reversible fabric, using the serger to finish seams making it reversible.
On the purple hoodie, I lengthened the skirt by 1 1/2 inches.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This runs big. You may want to size down. I added length to the cotton fleece version. I also tapered the sleeves to the cuff by taking out about a half inch at the underarm and tapering to an inch out total at the wrist. I didn't like the baggy sleeve at the cuff - this was also after sizing down a half size.
I am making these for my girls and myself. I am on hoodie number 4 right now. They go together in a breeze. Everyone wants one! I love this pattern even though I have tweaked it to my liking.
