What materials did you use? Polyester fleece and cotton jersey

What are you most proud of? I liked that I tried the reverse applique even if I'm not thrilled with the results. I learned something! It would be fun to use a large peace sign reverse applique for a hoodie for a teen or tween.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I'm not sure that fleece is the best material for reverse applique. It would probably have worked better had I used a simpler pattern. The rose template is very detailed, and that doesn't come out well in the fleece. I've saved the template though, and I'll use it on some other projects.

I LOVE your applique hoodie! Thank you so much for sharing! I have been wanting to figure out applique with knits. My efforts have been unsuccessful so far.

Practice on a t-shirt. In fact after doing this on the fleece, I think that I'd recommend not doing it with a stencil as detailed as this one (with fleece)..

Love the color & the applique! Just finished mine in a boring brown.
