What materials did you use? Polar fleece

What are you most proud of? Having a go with my new overlocker and cover stitch machines - watching the class gave the confidence to try! Thanks Meg!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use the video notes - they are really useful for bookmarking points in the construction that you will want to watch again.

This is a beautiful shade and looks very professionally made. Will you tell us about your fabric choice please?

Thank you! The fabric is a polyester polar fleece, as I wanted the fleece for gardening and this kind of fabric dries really quickly. It looks the same on both sides so I put a pin in the side I had decided was the "right side" on all the pieces just in case there was a slight difference that was hard to see. I did wonder if it would not be as nice to sew with as the cotton fleece but actually it was great to work with. Hope that helps - Lesley :)

It seems a shame to do your gardening in it! It's lovely and a gorgeous colour.
