What materials did you use? Fabric I made years ago from leftovers...three other fat quarters...beads, ribbon, fancy cords

What are you most proud of? That I used something I had had for years and hadn't a clue what to do with. And it came out better, I think, than my first piece.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? This technique is SO much fun...you almost cannot stop making pieces!

Oh, so exciting! I do a lot of crazy patch and after seeing this I just must use one of the pieces I've created and haven't put into a project yet as the bottom layer in a stitch and slash project. What a great idea! I think I'll make mine into a tote.
