I ordered this fabric over the net and too my surprise the plaid was printed on the bias. Due to this I decided to match the plaid on the back yolk and pockets.Difficulty:

matching the plaids and the tower plackets - first shirt with proper cuffs.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Flanelette is easy to work with as it is easy to ease around curves - but it is more bulky than plain woven shirt fabric.
