What was your inspiration?
I had made my Calgary Flames NHL hat and wanted something warm to cover my neck as well when heading to the games in winter time.
What are you most proud of?
I get lots of compliments on the ensemble when we head to the games.
I also really like the fact that you kind of get 2 different sides to the scarf... the pattern makes the scarf bumpy... not a bobble but a bump... so one side of the scarf looks a bit different than the other, just the way the yarns stick out a bit more on opposite sides.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Very simple project, just sc, dc, and tc...
I thought that the scarf would end up longer than it is... if you plan on wrapping around your neck more than once, I would add more stitches.
The pattern called for 10 rows... my pattern ended up being 13 as I was using 4 colours.
