What materials did you use? Microfiber

What are you most proud of? I really worked hard on the fit, and it was worth it. I learned so much by slowing down and enjoying the process.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make and adjust the muslin as directed in the class. But give yourself permission to be just as critical about the fit after you finally work with your fashion fabric. It's just different from the muslin. I think for the next pair, I'm going to try inserting a back zipper--that way, I can adjust both sides as much as I need to for the fashion fabric.

Love the zippers! Maybe I can have my welt pockets after all. You've done a great job. I can't wait for my pattern to arrive so I can start playing. I am determined to have a good pair of linen slacks for the summer. Thanks for sharing - it gives me hope! LOL

Your pants are great! Thanks for the recommendation about the back zipper. Although I haven't started, I was thinking of doing the side zipper, but you changed my mind.

The suggestion for a tab on the side zipper was also very helpful. I have been dithering between a back zipper and the side zipper as I am not as flexible as I used to be (not as young either) and I find the side zip difficult to zip all the way to the top. Thank you.
