What materials did you use? Bits of yarn from my stash, most 100% acrylic, some acrylic/wool blends and my spiffy new Schacht 15-inch Rigid Heddle Loom

What are you most proud of? I'm proud of the fact that I managed to actually warp and then weave! I practiced beating an even fabric but also played around with varying the intensity of the beat to see what happens. It created a "painterly" effect, which I rather like. I think it adds depth and interest to the piece, but I do understand that in excellent weaving, just as in excellent knitting, you really should aim for an even tension. I'll work on that with the next project.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take Angela's class. It's GREAT!! She is an excellent teacher. Also, I purchased the recommended book, "Rigid Heddle Weaving" by Betty Linn Davenport and it's a terrific resource.
