What was your inspiration?
When I bought the loom, the woman selling it to me offered me a discounted price if I would weave the scarf she had already warped. I figured it would be good practice anyway, so I did! This is how it turned out.
Warped with various ribbon yarns; woven with fuschia mohair.
What are you most proud of?
Its pretty and it made me realize that weaving would be a great way to use up those novelty yarns Ill never knit with! Also, Diane loved it. :)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Weaving is so much fun! You can achieve a really gorgeous result with just plain weave if you choose yarns with lots of texture.
