This was my first attempt at making a hat box cake and my first attempt at painting, so I know next time I could do better. Also, I didn't have a clay extruder, so just made a rope by hand.Category: Cake Decorating

What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure you have all of the materials. I only have a 12 inch ruler, not the 18 in measure. That would have been helpful. I had a tough time at first.
