I haven't made it to the yarn store to pick out the colors I want to use for the poet shawl, but I couldn't wait to get started on this class. So I'm using scrap yarns and only doing one repeat rather than all 3. I'm having a blast making this swatch, and can't wait until the budget can afford new yarn to make the whole shawl. I'm loving Fair Isle Crochet. I was really worried about breaking my yarn every row, but the results are wonderful!

I finished the pattern swatch and left the ends as tassels, folded it in half and made a purse. Its the perfect size for my phone and cards. Now i'm working the real pattern! :D
