What materials did you use? Rattail cording, rick rack, embroidery thread, yarn, old decorative trim.

What are you most proud of? I achieved the look I had in mind and it was very rewarding.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just have fun! I am now ready to make a second project. Choosing couching materials is hardest for me but then choices get easier for the rest of the steps.

Wow! For a first effort this is spectacular! (Of course, I might be slightly prejudiced since lime green is my favorite color). Seriously, I love all your hand stitching. Those French knots make me smile. Thanks for sharing (and I love your avatar!)

Thanks Carol. I am now working on a monochromatic one in browns and tans. I must say, though, that it is really hard not to add some bright color. Maybe I'll add a splash of something in my hand embroidery which I am just starting. Perhaps orange. I love your classes. It certainly is exciting to learn new things at my age...just wonderful!
