Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Spindling: From Fluff to Stuff »

Instructions

Tried using a top whirl drop spindle but switched to a trindle (by trindleman on etsy) because I only knit with lace weight, so I wanted to spin really fine singles and the fiber kept breaking. The trindle made it much easier.

Category: Spinning

Type of item: Functional

For: Women

Style: Classic, Romantic

Materials

Merino (60%) Bamboo (40%)

What are you most proud of?

How thin I've gotten it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Practice 15 mins a day til you are comfortable.

Bravo! Getting consistent twist and size takes patience! I adore your spindle! It looks like it weighs next nothing!!

Thanks. It does weigh practically nothing! It's a trindle from trindleman on etsy. I love it. So pretty. The only thing is ithat it's so delicate you need some sort of firm case to make it portable.
