First Serger/First Project:)

My First Serger Project

My First Serger Project

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Beginner Serging: Machine Basics & Techniques »

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Accessory

For: Other

Style: Cute, Whimsical

Materials

Fat quarters - 2, zipper, flusible fleece, serger.

What was your inspiration?

Amy made it look soooo easy - had just bought a Bernette 610D serger and didn't know where to start - went directly to Craftsy and couldn't believe there was a course on using a Serger - soooo happy. Can't wait to make another one.

What are you most proud of?

That I actually completed the project - although I made a mistake - cut the corners before serging (I guess I was so anxious to complete it - haha) - I still am so proud of myself for not giving up! Thank you Amy!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Definitely take Amy's course - I don't feel intimidated anymore by my serger - Amy's instructions were so clear.
