What are you most proud of? It's finished!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Although not a fitted garment, pay attention to the dimensions for each size, keeping in mind how fitted or loose you want the sweater. AND knit a gauge swatch--important!

How long did it take you to make? I'm just starting mine, I'm so excited. I haven't done a project this big, and my arms are sore!

I'm so sorry, I'm just seeing your question more than a year after you wrote it! I'm guessing you've knitted your own sweater by now? I remember I felt like I had a lot of time in which to work on this project, but after checking on Ravelry I can see it took me two months to complete. :)

Thank you for responding Keenie! I had a lot of false starts: wrong conversions of needle size and finding similar wool in Australia. Thinking I am skinnier than I really am:) I finally got going with the right size and equipment so I'm happy now. But seriously your picture is inspiring. You look fab! Thanks again.

The sweater looks awesome. As I was working on mine, I kept referring to your picture! I bought the same color yarn and then wasn't sure. Now, I'm going to make another for a gift and use the same color of yarn. Your picture really is fabulous!

Hi! I'm sorry I didn't respond earlier--I'm just now seeing some of the comments on my project over a year after they were posted! THANK YOU for your very nice words. I hope you were just as please with your own sweaters! :)
