Knit Original Cuff-Down Socks taught by Donna Druchunas

Warm, cozy and cute that's what your feet will be when you put them in hand-knit socks. Inspired, happy and proud that's how you'll feel when you're the one who knit them by hand.

What materials did you use? Oh.. I do not remember.. 75% superwash wool 25%nylon. On and there is also aloe in the yarn.

What are you most proud of? The fact that I finished it. (1inch done on the second cuff.) This first sock was challenging. Donna's instruction, while wordy, was invaluable. The 30sec repeat was a lifesaver in this endeavour. Since I was worried about running out of yarn, I stopped knitting the foot about 2cm-3cm too short and so the heel is a bit tight or works its way down a tad. I am trying to make them identical so I wound off some green yarn to start in the fushia

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Patience.
