What materials did you use? Fingering weight wool blend sock yarn. I don't remember the brand but picked it up on sale at Jo-Ann's.

What are you most proud of? I completed them! I'm very good at creating half-finished projects.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Do two socks at the same time to be sure they are the same length & do your knitting stretches! I had never never knit with fingering weight yarn before and had to work on a better way to control my tension. Also, I used Jeny's surprisingly stretchy bind-off since I tend to bind-off too tight.

Thank you! I had a coupon for Jo-Ann Febrics & picked up a couple skeins of one of the Deborah Norville sock yarns that does the self-striping. I liked it enough that I'm making a second pair in different colors (purples & greys).
