What are you most proud of? Getting as close as I have to having workable pants! LOL

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Start with a basic pants pattern and then make a version in your size, then start fitting from the top downward.

Thanks, BB. I check again and see if it needs to be longer. Thanks!

Thanks, Davesmom! I'll see if they dip down when I sit. I do get the feeling that they may be dipping both in front and back possibly. They aren't quite uncomfortable but, it is more than would look good.

OK, Sheri! I'll try to fix them up and get another set of pics.

Great start! I'm a curvy girl, too, which is why it's been so doggone hard to find a nice pair of slacks that fit my body without looking like I'm wearing some version of harem pants. Can't wait to see your next round of changes. Good for you girl. What fabric are you going to use for your first project? Thanks for sharing - gives me encouragement. :-)

Thanks, sew2pcs! I usually do things a couple of times. After fixing up the pattern, I'll make this up in a polyester gabradine that I found in my stash of fabrics. If it looks really good, then I'll start looking for a wool!
