What materials did you use? Red Heart Yarn that I had in my stash( didn't want to use nice yarn in case I messed up!)

What are you most proud of? First time knitting anything!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you are just learning, knit over something soft so your husband won't comment on how many times you dropped a needle ;) For kids mittens, I would definitely make longer cuffs than in the pattern to keep their little wrists warm and to stop them from falling off(Mine are about 6 inches instead of the 2 that the pattern suggests)
