Wow! Your first attempt? Neat oh! Some day I will try to tackle the feathers. Love the look, when the curves are smooth and symmetrical to each other. Mine would look quite wonky I think lol.

I made a quilt and used the same center medallion. The one in the picture is reall pretty "rough"around the medallion. I was never satisfied with the quilt for thIs reason,and the quilt was a special gift for a friend whose free motion quilting is much better than mine. Oi vey!

This is just inspiring. I have this same course - Wendy is great - but I am slowly, slowly working up the courage to try FMQ on a quilt. Yours looks awesome. The feather ring in the center is very precise and professional looking. Great, great, great job!
