This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Rigid Heddle Weaving: Beyond the Basics »

Instructions

My RH is not the same as the instructors so I improvised. I love asymmetrical ... it's so freeing! ;)

Difficulty:

Category: Weaving

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Casual

Materials

8/4 carpet warp (100% unmercerized cotton), Schacht Cricket Loom, 10 dent RH

What was your inspiration?

Taking the class.

What are you most proud of?

I almost cut it off the loom after the first 6 inches...didn't get it and couldn't see the pattern. Then I stepped back and saw the log cabin and decided to finish. So glad I did...I love it!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Work with patience. Step away and be inspired! Also I think I will try this on really tricky projects...when I used my camera the pattern jumped out at me, Although my nekked eyes couldn't see the pattern my camera wouldn't take that picture.
