Here are some details about my project:

What materials did you use? Cotton/Lycra denim (96%/4%) 9oz weight from Fabric.com; two strands white polyester thread for top stitching, denim color poly thread in bobbin and for seams

What are you most proud of? The fit in my rear!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time and keep working on the muslin. I probably changed the back crotch 5 times, taking a little more at a time, but it worked. I have NEVER had a pair of pants fit my rear as well as these. REALLY makes a difference in comfort! The denim did not distress much, or maybe I just did not get aggressive enough. Also, I should have made them a size smaller. Next time I will try 2% Lycra. 4% feels like too much stretch.

I just can't wait to get to it. Everyone's jeans look so good. I've inched up in weight so I ordered a bigger pattern but I like Angela's pockets. Just start taking measurements, I guess. I don't have one pair of jeans that fits right!
