What materials did you use? A cotton cord.

What are you most proud of? That I completed it. Yes I made mistakes but I persevered and I am quite pleased with my result. first attempt.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I practised some of the more tricky procedures on scrap materials first. I had the videos at my side throughout so that I could make reference to them when I was unsure. uncertain. felt unsure

It was a sort of cord. I picked it up at where they sell lots of off cuts by weight. It was under a section of suede materials but that's all it said. I didn't buy it specifically for this jacket I just used it to try out because I had never made a jacket before. It wasn't too bad to sew just a bit bulky at times. The hardest bit was the topstitching, because it was hard to get the material to feed through smoothly. I got there in the end. Thank you for your kind feedback. Have you made this jacket?

Sorry I can see your jacket now. It's great. You must be pleased as I am to have made and completed it. I found the videos so helpful. Usually when I try to follow a pattern I am unsure of the meaning but with Janet showing each step it was so much easier. Will you be making more things soon?
