How did you sew the leather closure on the top to your fabric? Did you sew it on a regular sewing machine?

I sewed this project with a regular machine. The fabric is not leather, is similar but thinner.

Alicia, your bag came out great! I will be starting on my bag as soon as I collect all of the materials especially the mat, ruler and rotary cutter. I have made a few other bags and find that I need to make the whole lining a little bit smaller than the exterior. That's what I'll be doing this time. Your choice of white is beautiful=).
