Scraps of various yarns - some nice alpaca blend, a 220 Superwash and an acrylic.

What was your inspiration?

I have a crochet pattern for some shoes for my toddler god daughter. I don't know how to crochet so took the Crochet Lab class to get some basics.

What are you most proud of?

I have been knitting for about 2 yrs and as a child/adolescent would chain for miles while my grandmother crocheted but I never picked it up. I'm pleased how easy it was for me to catch on to!! Yea!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Tension can be your worst nightmare - if you're too tight, try really relaxing and just easing back into it until you get the desired amount of tension. :-)
