What materials did you use? Cottons in gold, grey & cream. I'll be using black in the connectors & first border - should make the rest of the blocks stand out!

What are you most proud of? Most of my points are in the right spot!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Measure & cut very carefully.

Ooops, senior moment typing there - I was trying to say we'll see how this all turns out. I may be limiting myself too much with color & fabrics.

Great job, I think they will look awesome once you have them all together!

Thank you, Tanya, I really like doing sampler quilts

Very nice. I am working on a modern quilt using similar colors of citron, gray, black and white. Can't wait to see this all put together. You must have a lot of spare time to quilt. I wish I did.

Thanks, Penny - yes, I do have a lot of time to quilt. There is just the dog & I and since I retired last year, I can sew to my heart's content. I'm feeling pretty lucky about that. Of course, it doesn't hurt to ignore the dog hair on the floor, laundry in the basket. etc.

My goodness, I'm jealous of all you have accomplished in Craftsy so far. I'm getting ready to start sewing my first block in this class. I already picked up a few great tips from Kaye's first lesson. I'll b e using Civil War fabric on mine because I love that old vintage look ... but I really like your color choice ... on almost all of your projects. Great Work!

Thanks, CL Tree, being retired has allowed me the time to have lots of fun at Craftsy.

Love the contemporary spin on traditional quilt blocks! You have a good eye for color!

Thanks so much! The quilt top is now done - don't know when it will be quilted as I haven't a clue how I'm going to quilt it - you can see it in my projects.
