What advice would you give someone starting this project? Making photo documentation of your work regardless of your skill level giving you visual verification of how your skill level progresses. Taking photos of your projects also lets you see stubborn loose threads on your projects that you thought you removed. :)

Nice work.

This is very classy for a donation quilt. I will love to do that to my quilts that I donat.

Thank you all for your very kind comments. It was my first time doing swirls. It was a tense process. Even though I had a map, I still got lost a few times. Practicing on donation quilts is a great way to improve techniques and make a donation quilt very special at the same time. I made lots of mistakes but found that it was easier to quilt on a top with an actual design vs. a blank piece of muslin.

Great inspiration!! I am new to FMQ too. So, I will take your advice and take photos and journal it.

Thanks for sharing your work. Even though you say it's hard work, you made it look easy, and seems like you learned a lot in this class. You make it seem like it's worth taking this class, maybe I will. Great job.
