Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: Gum paste, color dusts, stencils

What are you most proud of? No cutters, veiners, nor pasta machine roller. I wanted to do this flower so much that I improvised. I know the result would have been so different using all that Chef Lodge indicates but I stll had to five it a try. Super happy with this class :) many thanks!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Thin your gumpaste as recommended. My petals came out too thick. Use a two- sided veiner- texture and thinness really help in making your flower realistic.

I love this cake! The colour combo and the texture. Your flower is lovely and I think that it being slightly less than realistic is a style that is perfect with this cake.
