What advice would you give someone starting this project? Find a background that reminds you of sky or leaves. Also, be sure to read the instructions for this applique method before cutting your fabric. You can choose to use a different method, even fusible, if you want, but the method given is simple enough for a beginner!

What a gorgeous idea for a quilt for my grand girls. Absolutely beautiful! Love the little face you made here. How did you get his idea? Through a class? if so, which one?

I loved to swing as a child and drew the pattern out based on those memories. (There was no class.)
