What are you most proud of? I actually tried. I can tell it will take me a lot of practice to get them looking even.

Good Job! I love watching feathers being born. You have all the right concepts...feathers are going in the right direction on both sides, have a good scoop to define the feather. Good pearls in the middle! Have fun and enjoy the process. By the way, save this first panel and do a comparison later on. :)

Way to go, you did it! I love Cindy's idea of keeping your first sample. In no time at all, you will be amazed at your skill level increasing. It would be fun for you to post updated samples as you continue to practice. You have the makings of some great quilts coming. :- )

This looks exactly like my very first try at my long arm and yes, I still have it and you're doing great! I was very proud of my first project. I plan to frame it and hang it in my sewing room!
