I have never knitted prior to taking this class. Just the swatch to check gauge. I think this finished cardigan is a testament to how great this class is and Myra as a teacher. She covered everything clearly and at a pace that wasn't too slow or boring. I took liberty at her bolero pattern and continued to make this into a cardigan with twisted ribbing at the waist. Something I could wear to the office.

Thank you for your suggestion on the twisted rib at the waist. I used the idea in my cardigan. I really like the look of your finished cardigan!

I LOVE this cardigan. You did a beautiful job for never having knitted before. I just purchased the lacy cardigan class, and was on the fence, as I did not like the cardigan pictured, however really liked some of the projects others made. This makes me feel better; so you made this cardigan from a pattern from her class?

Hi - I am so glad that this was my first knitting class. Myra is an excellent teacher - not rigid in her instruction but very thorough so you felt confident enough to do something different. She promotes creativity.
