Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Spindling: From Fluff to Stuff »

Instructions

Don't try to go fast at first

Difficulty:

Category: Spinning

Type of item: Clothing

For: Other

Style: Funky

Materials

I practiced with some hand carded wool from my sheep, from last year. This was a batch I overwashed, as it was my first time washing wool. I also practiced with some samples I received with a spindle. Those were in roving, and so I got to practice with rolags vs roving. My first attempts are very thick, lumpy and inconsistent. But I like that for scarves. I will keep practicing.

A lovely homespun look - and I agree with Dru - a perfect setting to showcase the yarn! :)
