What materials did you use? Mercerized cotton, hand-dyed silk ribbon.

What are you most proud of? I completed a crocheted item following a pattern!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? GO FOR IT! (And don't pick ugly colors to work with because you just might finish it! :) )

Very cute sweater! I like the ribbons. I love buttons but I'm hesitant to use them on my sweater (in progress) since it's for my 9-month-old granddaughter.

How did you get both ends of the ribbon to meet up right there?

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! I still wince at the color selection, but it was shipped off to the recipient shortly after finishing it, so I don't have to see it every day. Heh. Sure wishing there were a follow-up to this course. Sort of an okay, you tackled a baby sweater, and NOW let's tackle .... :) I'm still a very nervous crocheter and stick to freeform. Anyhoo, Mary, I used a much longer piece of ribbon than was needed and clipped both ends so they would sort of meet.
