What materials did you use?
All scrap fabric
What are you most proud of?
At first I wondered if it would really be acceptable but in the end it really looked bright and cheery and very interesting .
The final finished project but this picture doesn't show the nice wine coloured border that really set it off. The white areas were divided into sections which were then filled with samples of different free motion designs
Very nice! I made a similar one not too long ago in blue and white, but I think your colors are nicer. The quilting also looks quite good. :-)
Colorful, light, airy. . . . all the things I appreciate about a quilt! Congratulations. Great job. Love Leah Day's freemotion tutorials too!
Thanks, so much fun to do and a great way to use up scraps, unused blocks etc. It is a great way to improve FMQ skills too.
love the quilting!! What a great idea that makes me want to try it! Is there a full view picture somewhere?
Sorry but I think that this is the biggest one I have but you could check on my blog site http://annsplace-dahlitsa.blogspot.ca/
I gave this quilt to my daughter for xmas and she displays it folded over an easy chair in her living room. It looks so nice that I think I may do another one for myself. it is such a great way to use up scraps and definitely helps improve ones free motion skills.
