What was your inspiration?

Carol Ann Waugh's Stupendous Stitching class.

What are you most proud of?

I love the excitement I think I created.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

As a Quilter I had get beyond my rigid, exact thinking and just let go. It was very exhilarating, once I relaxed and enjoyed the experience!

No, it is store bought fabric, but it is a good idea for the future.

Wow your work is fantastic, love the colours in the fabric, (wish I could find fabric like that here in Western Australia!) Your choice of threads and cords make the whole piece stunning. Is that white thread also near the yellow cord? Great choice, makes me think of the snow in BC, I have been there twice and would love to come again.

So nice to hear from Australia! Glad you like my project. Yes. I used white thread for the straight stitches as well as for the white French knots under the yellow cord.
