What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't use acrylic yarn! Otherwise it was simple and turned out very well.

The color is more true in the primary photo. Acrylic yarn doesn't block very well - but I learned a lot using this large scale. The fir cone pattern came from Eunny's lace class.
