Fins The Fish

Pattern Info

Pattern info for this project can be found here:
Fins the Fish by Stacey Trock, from 'Crocheted Softies' book

Instructions

Although book instructions don't require to stuff dorsal or side fins, I put a little bit of stuffing in them to make them sturdier.
This is a very easy pattern to make and it would be perfect for a beginner in amigurumi projects and great fun to make.

Difficulty:

Category: Crocheting

Type of item: Toy

For: Other

Style: Funky, Cute

Materials

Robidn Double Knit

What was your inspiration?

After I shared my amigurumi crab in Facebook, one of my sisters asked me if I could make something for her. I sent hear a link of Stacey Trock's ''crocheted Softies' book and she chose the fish.

What are you most proud of?

Making something for my sister and the fact that I finished it in only 6 days, just working on it in the afternoons.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Although the book instructions don't require to stuff dorsal or side fins, I think they benefit from a bit of stuffing too in order to make them sturdier. Use your favourite colours and, of course, it doesn't have to be stripy, although I think it's more fun with stripes.

Thank you, Ladymax. They are so much fun to make! I'm making another crab now for another sister (I am blessed: I have 4 sisters and they are all wonderful!). I really appreciate your comment. What are you working on now? Lots of love. <3
