What materials did you use? Fabric from a kit purchased on clearance. Thread. Fusible batting.

What are you most proud of? Finally finishing it! I sewed it, batted it, backed it, stitched-in-the-ditched it, and started binding it... then got stuck. It took some time and research to figure out how to join the binding seamlessly where the beginning and end meet.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't discard your scraps! They came in really handy when I was learning to do the Broken Spider string block during Craftsy' free Block of the Month class.

A knockout! Of course the colors just bounce and the whole quilt is beautiful. :-)

I adore these colours - all those reds and pinks and purples that should, by rights, have clashed dreadfully, have all come together to make an absolute knock-out of a quilt! Gorgeous!

Thanks Pat. Wish I could take credit for putting the fabrics together - but alas I bought a kit (on clearance, yeah!).
