What was your inspiration?

I was making this lap quilt for our vacation home and decided to use it to practise Angela's lessons.

What are you most proud of?

This is the most quilting I have ever done on one project and the most fun I have ever had quilting! Angela makes it all so non-threatening. I have learned so much by applying these lessons to a real quilt, it is far from perfect, but it is the best work I have ever done. Thanks Angela, great course!!

You did a great job, I love to see these ideas incorporated into more traditional quilts and you have a wonderful quilt for your vacation home. You should be very proud of it. I especially like your paisleys.

Thanks Pamillia and TerryChase! The motifs are not as big as I would have liked, and that is something I find difficult, but hopefully that will get easier with more practise.

WOW! your quilting is wonderful. Like Terry said the large quilting makes it so much softer & pleasant to use. I really like the flowers in the corners, the swirls & pebbles are wonderful. The paisley really sets it all off. Well done. Thank you for sharing.

I love that you used large motifs which makes a softer quilt. Lovely.
