What materials did you use? I used all kinds of materials. I went for the color matching rather than the type of material.. The front had mixed kinds of fabric. The back was mostly a dark pink velvet. I made this quilt for a freind of mine. She loves it. It is queen size. I used 3 1/2 inch squares. I was thinking I would use some tiny 1 inch squares and make another one smaller another friend. I have quite a bit of material left to repeat the pattern smaller.

What are you most proud of? making the quilt turn out like my vision of it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make the squares smaller.

Really striking quilt! I would be ecstatic if what I drew on paper turned out as good as your final work. I really like how the Star looks like it is glowing, or has an aura around it. Thank you for sharing your beautiful quilt. :-) :-) :-)
