What was your inspiration?
A quick easy pattern for adults. I was looking for an easy project before the holidays - I had many adults to make gifts for. This pair is Long Length - they go over the knuckles.
This pattern comes in 4 sizes and 2 lengths - something for everyone!
What are you most proud of?
My colors and my craftsmanship. Mixing and matching colorful yarns to create an overall effect that is stunning.
Also - this pattern comes with a bonus pattern of Fancy Appliques - to jazz up your mittens. You will have a lot of fun with these patterns.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
You will knit with two strands of yarn together. This is no big deal, just treat them like a single yarn. If they get twisted around each other (and this bothers you), simply hold your knitting up side down and let it spin to unwind. It helps to keep the ribbon strand in a container like an open jug, so it can bounce around in that while you knit - and NOT roll all over the floor or into the next room. :-)
