Fingering weight scarf

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Rigid Heddle Weaving »

Difficulty:

Category: Weaving

Type of item: Accessory

For: Unisex

Style: Classic, Hipster, Outdoorsy, Traditional

Materials

Wool/ Silk yarn. Handyed myself

What was your inspiration?

Made this second weaving project using the techniques learned in Angela's class. I tried out fingering weight yarn and did a stripe pattern that gradually got smaller till I was doing 1 row of each color. I absolutely love it. I also tried out the hemstitch she demonstrated.

It measures 10" wide by 70" long.

What are you most proud of?

That I have tidy edges and it's actually wearable!

Very nice. Your hemstitching looks great...I'm still intimidated by it but will try it soon!
