Instructions
I started with a 12"x12" background. I chose a dark blue wool scrap from a sweater I had felted. With wool roving I roughed out the basic shaped of the tree, branch and bird. What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Watch your fingers, the needles are sharp. Have fun, there is no right or wrong way to do this. Make it your own. This project took several months of working during the evenings. I just kept it next to my chair and found that it was good to put it down and then go back, it gives a fresh perspective. It would be fun to see it all done in scrap wool. Good Luck!
