I used a computer and Bernini' V6 software to digitize each frame of the window. Then I appliqued, and embroidered 2 layers (top and bat) in a commercial machine embroidery hoop. When this stage was done, I did touch ups with my sewing machine free-style (feet down) . Then I add the backing material. Hope this makes sense.

When I am working on a large project--like this one--I try to concentrate on the individual parts rather than the whole project..That way I can make progress all along the way.
