What was your inspiration?

Fern Frost is a scarf that celebrates the hey-day of the Golden Age of Hollywood. It was a time awash with feminine glamour, beauty, and elegance. It was a time for the femme fatale, and fur. The modern knitter wishing to enjoy some vintage glam can also have that Touch of Mink, with this luscious beaded scarf. It features a sumptuous yarn from Lotus Yarns Mimi, made from 100% mink. I used 2 skeins of 330 yds each in colorway - Merlot.

You will also need approx. 700 size 6 seed beads.

What are you most proud of?

I really planned out the shoot from location, and background clothing, to the jewelry (handcrafted from my Aunt & Uncle's Etsy shop - http://www.etsy.com/shop/ArtInspiredGifts). I paid attention to lighting, and looked past the model to notice distractions in the background.

Yes. I have it up on Ravelry, but I'm putting it up here on Craftsy later this afternoon.

Thanks. It was a little tricky to use my reflector with one hand, while taking the photo with the other. Between the skylight and the beveled mirrors behind her, I was able to get some nice lighting.

You did a lovely job with the photos! That nice, soft light in the photo where your model is looking down? Gorgeous. I love how the mink collar just peeks through but adds a nice texture against the beads.
