Materials

Small jelly roll: loulouthi fabric collection by anna maria horner

What was your inspiration?

Sample project by Jenny Doan, from her Quilting Quickly class. I bought the fabric through Craftsy.

What are you most proud of?

Everything seems to have lined up fairly well and is square for the most part.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Follow Jenny's advice to alternate sewing direction when connecting strips, to prevent bowing.

Absoluately love your choice of colours. You have a wonderful sense of it. To me choice of colour makes all the difference in a quilt. Your well on your way.

Thanks, Deb - but I can't claim credit for fabric choices. I simply bought a jelly roll pack and all the hard work was done for me! I know I couldn't have pulled all those luscious fabrics together on my own!

Thanks! I've started the actual quilting process - really, my first attempt to do this. I'm using a large stipple design on the fencerail blocks, but still have to decide on what to do in the borders.

Thank you so much. I've since added the borders, in gray and orange.

Still need to trim the edges even, then decide on borders.
