What was your inspiration?

I wanted something that was vaguely Asian inspired. It was a very large project and was difficult to felt evenly. I did a traditional Nordic pattern on the pocket but I think it could pass as Japanese as well. It has an applied I-cord around the top for stability. The corners utilized a a slip stitch to emphasize the shape.

What are you most proud of?

That I finished it!! No really that it felted so evenly and has such a smooth soft finished texture. I was really really excited when I got a 1st place at the fair.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't give up. Even when a project seems like it's taking FOREVER!
