What was your inspiration?
Wool felted soaps are quite popular and they are anti fungal, anti bacterial and FUN!
The felt shrinks as the soap is used and there is no soap waste because it is kept inside the felt until it is completely gone!
What are you most proud of?
Using natural materials to create something practical.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I would make some basic felted soaps before attempting a specific shape. You only need to wet felt when making a block soap. With a shape like a carrot you will need to also needle felt and it is a bit more challenging to needle with the soap inside.
