This neck warmer is made just like the first project in the course, but then it is was machine washed in hot water (on purpose) to felt it. It was dried flat (not run through the dryer).Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
This was the "test" project before I actually worked up the "real" projects for the class. I have had several questions about options for the neck warmer, so I thought I would show an example of the project felted.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Remember that the project will shrink both in height and circumference so plan for that. It will also make a "stiffer" fabric.
