What was your inspiration?
Absolutely love knitting and wanted a bag for everyday use, so I decided to give felting a try as I love the look.
What are you most proud of?
It is very durable and has a completely reinforced bottom for strength and also it is reinforced with hidden leather strips at the handles. This will ensure that it always holds it's shape and will not become distorted over time.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Buy the skein of yarn in the colour you love, knit a bag in the round with your circular needles bigger than finished project and then wash in machine, keeping an eye on the size.
